rohiniDr Rohini Tirumala Sathish qualified as a Veterinary surgeon from a reputed University in Southern India. She is a Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandary. During her graduation she was awarded the “Best Lady Veterinarian” prize and received gold medals in recognition of her excellence in veterinary medicine and surgery. Due to Rohini’s ardent  desire to better the welfare of stray dogs, she worked as Humane Education Officer and Veterinarian for a Animal Welfare Charity called Compassion Unlimited Plus Action. Apart from undertaking her duties as a Vet she also lectured on Animal Welfare issues to trainees attending the trainer’s training programme which was sponsored jointly by the RSPCA and the Animal welfare Board of India. Dr Rohini was the Special Consultant  for Times of India, Bangalore where she undertook the daunting but rewarding job of educating approximately 25,000 school children from 60 different schools in India on topics pertaining to Animal welfare and Wildlife conservation. Her workshops in schools were greatly appreciated and well received by the children and their teachers.

In 1996, she won a prestigious International Scholarship to study MSC Wildlife Management at the University of Reading, UK. She completed the degree with a distinction and then volunteered at the PDSA (People’s Dispensary for Sick animals) Cardiff. Dr Rohini Sathish was admitted to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2000 after passing the membership exam and awarded the MRCVS. Since then she has been practicing as a Veterinarian in several practices in the UK. She has always been a very popular vet because of her compassionate nature and excellent consulting room skills. As a proficient surgeon she performs Small Animal orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery at an advanced level. She is currently a Senior Vet at Cvets, Merseyside and also has her own private practice as a Holistic Integrative Veterinarian in Cheshire. She is also a director of the FOBCK (Friends of the Birkenhead Council Kennels) and a member of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, College of Veterinary Integrative Veterinary Therapies & The Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists. She is the Veterinary Advisor for the Healing Animals Organization founded by International Animal Healer Elizabeth Whiter.

Dr Rohini Tirumala Sathish has published several articles in Newspapers, magazines and Journals in India and in the UK both in English and in Hindi. She is very fluent in English and in 6 other languages. Rohini is a natural orator and has participated and won several debating and elocution competitions.  She trained in Indian classical music for 16yrs since the age of 6 and has won innumerable competitions and awards both at school and University level as a Soloist Vocal Soprano. Rohini has continued to perform in the UK and has given several performances both in the UK and around the world. She has been interviewed several times on both Global TV and Radio and has released 4 music albums with TBB. She has performed with many famous singers from India.

Dr.Rohini primarily sings at fundraising events to help humanitarian and Animal Welfare causes.
